Osaki City is home to Osaki Farmlands, which is recognized as part of the (GIAHS) Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System. The nutrient-rich farmland and rice paddies, nurtured by abundant nature and crystal clear waters, have long supported the cultivation of crops, rice and the brewing of Japanese sake rice wine.
ALA-DATE Michi-no-Eki (Roadside Station)


In 2024, it was crowned the number one Road House in Japan in the "Jalan" National Roadside Station Grand Prix. "ALA-DATENA Michi-no-Eki Roadside Station, is located along National Route 47.

Inside the facility, you'll find a farmers' market selling fresh produce and local specialties, a section featuring goods from sister cities, and a popular food court offering noodles, prepared meals, bread, and gelato. They also provide ongoing updates on local events and host a variety of events, including stage shows by local homegrown talent and from outside the region.

At Gofuku no Date-chan Kitchen, they offer a lively and welcoming space where everyone can feel at ease. The menu features a wide variety of satisfying dishes, including set meals made with fresh local vegetables and hearty portions that are sure to please.
